Outreach Ministry

"A little bit of mercy makes the world less cold and more just."

-Pope Francis

Catholic Community

A strong Catholic community is centered around a parish, and is much more than just a group of people attending Mass.

It's a vibrant, interconnected network

of individuals who share a common faith

and actively live it out together.

Members actively participate in worship, ministries, and service, embodying

the values and teachings of the Church, particularly within the Eucharist.

It fosters a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals feel

a sense of belonging, and are encouraged

to grow in their faith.

This unity and shared purpose extend beyond the parish walls, as the community engages in outreach and acts of charity, striving to live out the Gospel message and transform the world.

Our St. Brigid's Community Outreach

Compassionate, solidarity, and serving others

as a way to encounter God.

Serving Others

Catholics volunteer to serve those in need because it is a core tenet of our faith to love and serve others, particularly those who are marginalized or vulnerable. This commitment stems from the teachings of Jesus, who emphasized helping the poor and needy. Serving the poor is seen as a way to live out their faith authentically and to practice justice, as well as a way to follow Jesus's example. Learn more about our programs by clicking below.
