Our vibrant Community welcomes you!

Parish Family Life

The parish is where the Church lives. Parishes are communities of faith, of action, and of hope. They are where the Gospel is proclaimed and celebrated. Parish Family Life refers to the various programs, activities, and initiatives within a church parish that aim to support and strengthen families as vital components of the church community. It recognizes the family as a "domestic church," a place of faith, love, and growth, and seeks to nurture this role within the broader parish structure. Click below to learn more!

Bienvenidos a nuestra comunidad hispana!

The Catholic Church in the United States is experiencing significant growth within its Hispanic/Latino communities, with nearly half of all Catholics identifying as Hispanic. This demographic shift is reshaping the church, with many parishes now actively engaging in Hispanic ministry, including offering masses in Spanish and fostering a sense of community. In 2025, Amherst reported 7.3% Hispanic or Latino.

St. Brigid's Hispanic/ Latino Community:

In 1993 we started with a maximum of 50 people; and in 2020 we see approximately 100 to 150 people attending Sunday Mass! On special days like Christmas, Easter and Mother’s Day we can see about 200 to 250 people attend. A multi-cultural community, the Five college area has an ever-revolving population from all over the world. Click below to learn more!
