St Brigid's Community

"Shared faith and beliefs. Connection to the Church. Worship and prayer. This is what St. Brigid's embodies."

-Fr. Valentine

Catholic Community

A strong Catholic community is centered around a parish, and is much more than just a group of people attending Mass. It's a vibrant, interconnected network of individuals who share a common faith and actively live it out together.

Members actively participate in worship, ministries, and service, embodying the values and teachings of the Church, particularly within the Eucharist.

It fosters a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals feel a sense of belonging and are encouraged to grow in their faith.

This unity and shared purpose extend beyond the parish walls, as the community engages in outreach and acts of charity, striving to live out the Gospel message and transform the world.

Prayer Life

Prayer is the opening of the heart and mind to God. Prayer is not just a detail but the heart and soul of all we do. “Come Holy Spirit” Jesus said. The Holy Spirit is the necessary source for every thought and word, from the very beginnings of the church until today. We offer a Daily Rosary and Adoration Thursdays. Please join us!

Serving at Mass

Liturgical ministries offer numerous benefits, including deeper spiritual growth, enhanced appreciation for the liturgy, and a stronger sense of community. Serving in these ministries allows individuals to actively participate in worship, grow in faith, and connect with Christ on a personal level. They also contribute to a more vibrant and prayerful liturgical experience for the entire parish community. Click below to learn more.

Serving Others

Catholics volunteer to serve those in need because it is a core tenet of our faith to love and serve others, particularly those who are marginalized or vulnerable. This commitment stems from the teachings of Jesus, who emphasized helping the poor and needy. Serving the poor is seen as a way to live out their faith authentically and to practice justice, as well as a way to follow Jesus's example. Learn more about our programs by clicking below.

Parish Family Life

The parish is where the Church lives. Parishes are communities of faith, of action, and of hope. They are where the Gospel is proclaimed and celebrated. Parish Family Life refers to the various programs, activities, and initiatives within a church parish that aim to support and strengthen families as vital components of the church community. It recognizes the family as a "domestic church," a place of faith, love, and growth, and seeks to nurture this role within the broader parish structure. Click below to learn more!
